Well, I finally did it....

I've been saying for some time now that I was going to start blogging. I have a lot of opinions about a lot of topics and this way I can get all that out. This can also be a good tool for family to stay connected to what is going on in our daily lives.

As my blog title alludes to, I often have those "I'm the grown-up?" moments. I'm 30 years old (wow, that's hard to even type), but I still feel like I'm not a true grown-up. I must just be in denial because you would think that with 2 kids, a job, a college education, a mortgage, 2 car payments and tons of other bills I'd get the picture. Sometimes I just feel like I'm playing house though. I go to work, I sign homework papers, I pack school lunches, I do an unbelievable amount of laundry everyday, but part of me still feels like I'm living someone else's life. Maybe it's because I got started so young. I met my husband and got engaged when I was 18 and a senior in high school. We moved in together a few weeks after I graduated, got married the next spring when were were 19, got pregnant with our first daughter 3 months later and on it went.

As stressful and strange of a journey my life has been thus far, I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
